Houston Wedding Photography - Ouisie's Table - Dani & Jonathan

A funny story begins my little journey with Daniella & Jonathan….We have all had one of those days when the phone rings…and rings…and rings…and it is nothing but sales and spam calls, right? The very first time Daniella called me was on the evening of one of those days. A number I didn’t know called and a voice on the other end of the line says; ‘Yes, hello, who am I speaking with?’ Now any reasonable person would simply answer the question but after the many calls that day my reply was something like; ‘Well you called me so you should know who your calling.’

I was probably more than a few shades of red after that first conversation and, to be very honest, I told my wife shortly after that I would probably never hear from Daniella again. I felt absolutely horrible! But she called back and soon we had wonderful meeting, discussed their day and they stuck with me! I always say, and truly believe, how lucky I am to do the job that I do and witness the sharing of so much love on a regular basis; I know in this instance that increases ten-fold!

High school sweethearts, Dani & Jonathan met in their freshman year and here they are today. Quite honestly one of the sweetest and caring couples I have ever met, I can’t even elate how honored I am to have been the one to capture their memories.

Everything began at Brush & Blush Blow Dry Bar where the ladies were all pampered wonderfully. This place is awesome. The staff were all friendly and the manager, Greer, was one awesome person as well! They did a perfect job on Daniella and all of the ladies there.

From there we were off to the Hotel Granduca (How can one go wrong there) and then to one of my favorite wedding spots to work at, Ousie’s Table. I have said it before, I truly love this place. The restaurant/venue is beautiful. The staff, from the service members to management are all wonderful and always ensure the night goes smoothly. Finally, the food…If you haven’t been, you need to go; it is delicious!

Dani & Jonathan - Thank you so much for trusting in me to capture the memories of your day. You make an amazing and beautiful couple and the love you both share is easy to see by anyone who may be looking. The hospitality of your families was amazing as well and every single person I met was a pleasure to spend time with. I can see where you both get it! I wish you both the absolute best for your future together but know, with the faith you both share, nothing will break the two of you…

I hope you enjoy the few samples from the wedding day while we work on the remainder!

Houston Wedding Photography - Layking + Paul

This past Saturday was a busy day to say the least. No one could be more blessed than I to have spent the day with so many wonderful people and Layking & Paul are on top of that list.

I met these two in a coffee shop that they visit regularly and their comfort with and love for each other showed from the very first moment that I met them. Their smiles come with ease and each of them have a light in their eyes when together. From that day to the date of their engagement session and, finally, their wedding day; that light remained shining.

The ceremony at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church was simply beautiful and the reception at the JW Marriot was fantastic! Everyone (Including the photography team) had a wonderful time!

Layking & Paul - It was a true honor to get to spend so much time with you and your family and friends. Your wedding day was absolutely beautiful and I hope you enjoy all of the beauty that we were able to capture for you. Best wishes to you both in your future together but it is easy to see that life will be easy for you as a team.

We hope you enjoy these few samples while we work on the many more that are to come!

Houston Wedding Photography - Brennan's Houston - Beth + Brian

Once Upon a Time in a land……

I will spare you all the attempt at a fairy tale on my part. There would be no need anyways when you have these two lovely people before you! Never before have I worked with a couple that is more comfortable and easy going than Beth & Brian. From the very first time meeting them, over a craft beer on an outdoor patio, in the Heights it was easily seen….these two belong together.

The few moments in time that we had together were just the same; easy! Their first session finished beautifully only a short distance from their home on the Heights walking path. Their wedding day? Simply Beautiful!

You can never go wrong with Brennan’s as your venue (or for a meal at any time). The restaurant is beautiful. The staff are fabulous. The food….delicious. The day began with some thundering and ominous storms to welcome the morning ceremony but that only meant it would be moved inside. No problem at Brennan’s and it turned out wonderfully!

Beth & Brian - I hope you know how happy I am for you both and how honored and humbled I am to have spent the time I did with you and your family and friends. You make a beautiful couple and not just in photos but in who you both are. You will always remain in our thoughts and prayers and I pray for many blessings throughout your life together.

I hope you enjoy these few samples from our time together while we work on the many more to follow!

as always I must give a shout out to my awesome associate, Joel Gutowski…You rock! Thanks for your hard work!

College Station E-Session - Alyssa + Tyler

A few hours spent at a neighboring table at an open house set the course for meeting this amazing couple. My videographer and I had plenty of time for wonderful conversation with the table beside us who just happened to be Petals By Design. Don't know them? Check em out, they do AMAZING floral arrangements and are a wonderful group of people as well!

Laura happened to mention that her daughter was getting married later this year and and that she would pass my information along to her. I happily passed a card along and we all went our own ways after the eventful day. Only a few weeks later I received an email from her daughter, Alyssa, and after only a few exchanges and conversations we were booked for her big day. So Alyssa; I have to give a huge THANK YOU to your mom for the recommendation!

Yesterday was the first time I actual met Alyssa & Tyler and it was the day of our first session together. They are both Texas A&M grads and really wanted the session to be at the place they met....who am I to argue with that?

With a huge chance of rain and a lot of time in the day we met and had all the preparations complete for the rain, if it did indeed come (and we were secretly hoping for it as well).

Alyssa & Tyler are simply one awesome couple. They are all smiles together, comfortable, relaxed and truly a pleasure to work with. I can not wait for the wedding day later this year!

We began at, where else, the Century Tree of course and neither of them had ever walked under it...If you know the legends then you know why. So this was the first time for them to be together beneath the tree and they didn't stop there; they even climbed on up for a bit as well! The mid-day sun did chase us for a while and at the very last location we did get the rain that we were hoping for and in the perfect, non-soaking amount as well.

Below are just a few samples from the day I spent with them and there will be many more to show as time goes by! I hope they are enjoyed by all and can't wait to meet the rest of the family and friends!

Houston Wedding Photography - The Woodlands Resort - Brittany + Sidney

One thing is certain:  Every single person who attended the wedding day of these two had an amazing time. All one had to do was simply look around to be consumed with the same joy that everyone else was feeling.

I have said far too many times that the venue is a major choice for many reasons; always included in those reasons are the photos that come after. The Woodlands Resort is one of those special places that is, simply put, beautiful. There is not a place you can go on their property that is not surrounded by something beautiful. Along with the smiling faces and happy people, this makes my job far too easy! Everything about the venue, the hotel, the staff and all included were simply spectacular and one would never be disappointed by choosing such a place for their wedding day.

Brittany & Sidney; as you enjoy your honeymoon I only hope you know how honored we were to be with you and your family on your wedding day. It was fantastic, every moment of it, and your family and friends are amazing and wonderful people who made us feel like a member of their very own.

I have placed a few samples from your day below and I hope that everyone enjoys them...there will be MANY more to come! Best wishes for your future and never lose those smiles that so easily come in each other's presence!

I have to give a couple of shout-outs here as well... Melanie at BridalMakeupMD did a fantastic job on the ladies and was awesome to work with. She, and the team, can be reached through www.bridalmakeupmd.com.

And I can not finish without a sincere thank you to Lauren Laughern at The Woodlands Resort. She was an amazing coordinator and, you can just tell, an awesome person as well. If you are considering the Resort as your chosen venue, she would be a wonderful person to speak with....http://www.woodlandsresort.com/weddings_events/

And finally, Joel Gutowski (My second and associate shooter)...You rock sir!
